The DMH seeks bids for a Vendor carry out the Spiritual Ambassador Project which will identify and implement strategies to assist spiritual leaders and clergy members in providing support to their parishioners and community members to address trauma, stigma, and shame through education and trainings. The Spiritual Ambassadors Project will serve as a “Train the Trainer” model. Faith leaders will master outreach strategies for their respective faith communities, promote mental health resources, and build trusting partnerships through faith and spirituality efforts. This presents an opportunity to include the faith community in identifying needs and developing solutions to overcome mental health challenges and associated stigma.
