Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Flyer/Promotional Materials 1. The Consultant must develop a flyer and/or other promotional materials to recruit 15-20 Filipino-American youth to participate in the Filipino-American Youth Mental Health Comic Book Project. 2. Any flyers and/or other promotional materials must include a copy of the LACDMH logo, the API UsCC logo, and the MHSA logo. 3. The flyers and/or other promotional materials, including those utilizing social media platforms, must be submitted to LACDMH for approval prior to implementation i. All social media posts must include information on where and how to access mental health services. ii. The LACDMH 24/7 Help Line must be included in every social media post (LACDMH 24/7 Help Line 800-854-7771). iii. Consultant shall be solely liable and responsible for any and all social media posts. Consultant shall indemnify and hold harmless Los Angeles County from and against any liabilities and costs arising from, connected with, or related to social media posts as part of this project. 4. The flyers and/or other promotional materials are the property of LACDMH. 5. Upon the request of LACDMH, the Consultant must demonstrate that they fulfilled this deliverable by providing supportive documentation (e.g., receipts, contracts, attestations, etc.). 6. Payment is contingent upon completion of Deliverable A activities (as listed above) and submission of all required paperwork. B. Pre and Post-Test 1. The Consultant must develop a pre and post-test to be administered to participants of the Filipino-American Youth Mental Health Comic Book Project to assess the impact of the project on the participants’ awareness and knowledge of mental health. 2. The pre and post-test must utilize a Likert Scale. 3. The pre and post-test must measure, at a minimum, the following: i. Impact on participants’ knowledge about mental illness ii. knowledge of mental health signs and symptoms iii. awareness of mental health resources available in the community iv. awareness of mental health-related stigma, etc 4. The pre and post-test must be developed so that the questions are at a 6th-grade reading comprehension level and must have a minimum completion rate of 80%. 5. The pre and post-test must be submitted to LACDMH for pre-approval. 6. The Consultant must submit copies of all completed pre and post-tests to LACDMH. 7. The pre and post-test must include a copy of the LACDMH logo, the AI/AN UsCC logo, and the MHSA logo. 8. To ensure the privacy of the participants, the pre and post-tests must be anonymous and free of identifiable information. 9. Upon the request of LACDMH, the Consultant must demonstrate that they fulfilled this deliverable by providing supportive documentation (e.g., receipts, contracts, attestations, etc.). 10. Payment is contingent upon completion of Deliverable B activities (as listed above) and submission of all required paperwork. C. Community Exhibit Survey 1. The Consultant will develop a community survey to be administered to attendees at the community exhibit. 2. The community survey must utilize a Likert Scale. 3. The community survey must be submitted to LACDMH for pre-approval. 4. The Consultant must submit copies of all completed community surveys to LACDMH. 5. The community survey must measure, at a minimum, the following: i. Impact on participants’ knowledge about mental illness ii. knowledge of mental health signs and symptoms iii. awareness of mental health resources available in the community iv. awareness of mental health-related stigma, etc 6. The community survey must include a copy of the LACDMH logo, the API UsCC logo, and the MHSA logo. 7. To ensure the privacy of the participants, the surveys must be anonymous and free of identifiable information. 8. Upon the request of LACDMH, the Consultant must demonstrate that they fulfilled this deliverable by providing supportive documentation (e.g., receipts, contracts, attestations, etc.). 9. Payment is contingent upon completion of Deliverable C activities (as listed above) and submission of all required paperwork. D. Development of Agendas, Programs, and Schedules for Filipino-American Youth Mental Health Comic Book Project 1. The Consultant must provide LACDMH agendas, programs, schedules, and materials in advance of all events related to the Filipino-American Youth Mental Health Comic Book Project, including the wellness workshops, comic book production, and community exhibit. 2. The events highlighted in the agendas must be relevant to the FilipinoAmerican youth population. 3. The agendas, programs, schedules, and any other materials must be submitted to LACDMH for approval prior to implementation. 4. Upon the request of LACDMH, the Consultant must demonstrate that they fulfilled this deliverable by providing supportive documentation (e.g., receipts, contracts, attestations, etc.). 5. Payment is contingent upon completion of Deliverable D activities (as listed above) and submission of all required paperwork.
