County will conduct a pre-bid conference and site visit starting at 10:00 a.m., November 12, 2025. Meet at the project site at 6550 Lockheed Drive, Redding, CA, at the corner of Lockheed Drive and Devere Drive. The pre-bid conference is not mandatory. However, the bidder is required to sign that they have familiarized themselves with the local conditions including, but not limited to inspecting in and around the work areas, operating hours of the building, access to areas of the building, and building security requirements.

The Department will receive electronic bid submissions until 11:00 a.m. local time, on November 20, 2025. Bids received after this time will be considered non-responsive and will not be accepted. Telephone and telefax proposals will not be accepted. Bidders must submit one (1) electronic copy of the Bid Documents (see paragraph 1.6 of this Section) to the Shasta County Bidnet Direct portal located at http://www.bidnetdirect.com/california/shastacounty. Bids shall be deemed to include all responses to questions or requests for information posted to the County’s bidding website. Checking for responses to questions or requests for information prior to bidding is the sole responsibility of the bidder. The Department will open and publicly read the bids at the Shasta County Department of Public Works Conference Room, 1855 Placer Street, 2nd Floor, Redding, California 96001 immediately after the specified closing time.
