2025-09-S2 - ANNUAL EMERGENCY SPILL CONTRACT COMMENCING APRIL 1, 2026

In general, the Work of this annual Contract consists of on-call furnishing of labor, materials and equipment for containment and clean-up of spills of oil, chemicals, sewage, or other hazardous and/or flammable substances; abatement of asbestos-containing materials, lead-containing paint, PCB-containing materials or materials with other hazardous components; removal and legal disposal of contaminated soil; performance of emergency utility repair work in a hazardous environment; and other related field services at Port of Oakland facilities for the period indicated.  Based on past experience, the cost of Work to be performed during the period of the Contract is expected to be approximately $150,000 per year. The work of this Contract is contingent upon the occurrence of emergency events; therefore, it is impossible to estimate the cost of work precisely.
