Description

The Big Dipper Ranch Culvert repair project includes the replacement and relocation of a failed 18-inch High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) culvert with a new 18-inch Aluminized Corrugated Metal Pipe (CMP) culvert and stabilization of the overlying failed road. The proposed relocation involves routing approximately 78 linear feet of culvert to a new energy dissipator located downhill from the original culvert outfall location and the site of the road failure. The road repair involves regrading with permanent engineered fill and installing long term erosion control to prevent future undercutting of the steep hillside and culvert area.
