RFP_F-Contr-0000000073 - Cal Fresh Early Childhood Education Agency Provider Project

The Contra Costa Health (CCH) Nutrition and Physical Activity Promotion Project (NPAP) is pleased to announce the availability of funding to support one (1) Contra Costa Early Care and Education (ECE) Agency Provider to improve the practice and programs that support healthy eating and physical activity among young children (0-5 years old). A grant from the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Nutrition and Physical Activity Branch (NPAB) funds this project.

Applicants must use approved evidence-based nutrition education and physical activity education as a foundation for implementing Policies, Systems, and Environmental (PSE) strategies that go beyond programming and into the systems that create the settings in which children, youth and families learn, eat, and play.  Up to $70,000 will be available to fund a project that supports policies, systems, and environmental changes to help children develop healthy eating and physical activity habits. The Contract will be 1-year, beginning October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026.
