This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued to invite qualified Consultants to submit proposals for completing assessment of existing conditions, preparing a Preliminary Design Report, preparing Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (Construction Documents) and providing bidding and construction support for the Water Pump Stations Nos. 8 – 12 Motor Control Center Upgrades Project. The City of Poway operates and maintains a water distribution system consisting of 14 pump stations, 19 reservoirs, and 21 pressure reducing stations as well as the 290 miles of pipelines that make up the City’s below ground assets. The City of Poway is seeking services for a Professional Engineering Consultant to analyze, identify concerns, and design the renovation and/or replacement of the motor control centers and appurtenant equipment at five water pump stations located throughout the City.
