The work consists of furnishing and installing approximately 395 linear feet of 6-inch, 525 linear feet of 8-inch, 4,385 linear feet of 12-inch, and 2,850 linear feet of 16-inch diameter steel pipe, and 45 linear feet of 14-inch diameter steel casing; appurtenances; installation of service laterals and meter boxes; installation of fire hydrants; installation of air vacuum valve and assemblies; installation of cathodic protection system; pressure and leakage testing; disinfection; installation of the system connection (closure) to the existing water mains; removal of pipelines from the ground (identified for removal), and restoration of the existing landscaping, surfaces (including but not limited to asphalt and concrete and other improvements), fences, and drainage systems to their original condition.

Sealed proposals to construct Driscoll Road Main Renewal Project will be received by the District Secretary of the Alameda County Water District at its offices, 43885 South Grimmer Boulevard, Fremont, California 94538, until closing time of 11:30 a.m., California local time, on September 5, 2023. Immediately thereafter all proposals received will be publicly opened and read by the District Secretary. All bidding submissions should comply with the requirements in the Contract Documents.
