Ira Township has officially joined the MITN Purchasing Group, one of BidNet’s regional e-procurement solutions, providing vendors throughout Michigan easy online access its upcoming solicitations. Ira Township invites all vendors to register online at www.bidnetdirect.com/mitn.

The regional purchasing group connects local governments with vendors looking to do business with public agencies. The vendors self-register and ensure their contact information is up to date.

About Ira Township:

Ira Township is a community of approximately 7,000 residents located at the southwest corner of St. Clair County bordered by Anchor Bay and Macomb County, and experiencing substantial residential, commercial, and industrial growth. The Township owns and operates its own water plant and fire department. We also partner with 2 other communities and St. Clair County to operate sewer plant.

In our Township we have 2 parks; one is located on our main campus complex and features a walking trail, playground, pavilions, a basketball court and a disc golf course. The other park is located on the water and provides visitors a place to fish, picnic, or just sit and watch the boats go by.
