Gilpin County joins the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System

Today, Gilpin County announces it has joined the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System, an e-Procurement solution from BidNet, to help simplify their purchasing process and make it easier for their vendors to access and compete for bids and RFPs. Gilpin County invites all potential vendors to register online with the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System to access its upcoming solicitations by visting www.bidnetdirect.com/colorado.

As a member agency of the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System, Gilpin County joins a community of 205 participating local government agencies located throughout Colorado and Wyoming, including Boulder County, Jefferson County and Central City. The Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System offers a way for Gilpin County to collaborate with like-minded public purchasing professionals in the area in order to share resources and attract local vendors.

Vendors looking to do business with Gilpin County and other nearby government agencies are encouraged to register at www.bidnetdirect.com/colorado. In addition to a centralized location for regional public bids, benefits of registering with the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System include:

- 24-hour access to local government opportunities
- Bid alerts customized to the vendors’ products or services
- Reliable and timely delivery of notifications, addendums and documents
- Notification of Term Contract Expiration

“We’re delighted about joining the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing system,” said County Manager Leslie Klusmire.“This allows us to take advantage of new technology that makes the procurement process more efficient. It saves us time and allows us to reach a much larger pool of interest.”
