Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.1 The vendor must adhere to all federal, state, and local statutes, ordinances, and regulations pertaining to the operation of security guard business. 1.2 The vendor must purchase and provide evidence of liability insurance or bond for protection of City property and personal injury liability with a minimum coverage amount of $1 million and Workers Compensation Insurance. Proof of insurance or bond must be provided prior to the award of a contract. The City reserves the right to require being listed as an additional insured. 1.3 All personnel performing duties under this contract must have completed training programs required by the State of Arkansas provided by the Arkansas State Police. Copy of certification for all persons assigned to the City must be available for review at the request of the City. 1.4 Designated hours in which security guard services are required at any City facility noted in this agreement are subject to change as required by the City and will be designated by the appropriate facility supervisor. 1.5 All Guard(s) assigned to any City facility must be dressed in an identifiable company uniform with name tag and equipped with cell phones. 1.6 Guard(s) must report suspicious activity to their supervisors who in turn will notify City Officials if necessary. 1.7 Guard(s) are to maintain professional conduct at all times. 1.8 Guard(s) may be required to follow set procedures as set by the City, such as sign in sheets, schedules, and verification of making required rounds. 1.9 Guard(s) to any facility shall not allow any person to use that facility inappropriately or provide any privileges to any person related to use of those facilities. 1.10 Guard(s) shall not take physical action against any participant or visitor in any City facility other than in extreme cases to prevent physical injury to an innocent bystander. 1.11 The City of Little Rock shall have the option to terminate this agreement if the vendor fails to give satisfactory service, with the City of Little Rock being the sole judge of the service.
