Specifications include, but are not limited to: Properly licensed professionals to bid on Retaining Wall Blocks. a. Both Redi-Rock and ReCon Wall Systems are approved equals for this bid. In the event a manufacturer’s block size differs from the size listed on the bid form, bidder shall indicate on the bid form, with clear markings and indications, the size of block priced in closest relation to the size of block specified. i. The City reserves the right to evaluate bids on a sample project comparison where both or multiple size blocks can be evaluated on an equal comparative basis. ii. Bidders shall not edit quantities in the bid form to adjust for variation in block sizing. All bidders shall calculate line item pricing off the provided unit quantities. iii. The City will evaluate bids based on the overall square foot calculation as it relates to the price of the block. Invoice and payments will be made on a unit price basis as shown in the bid form. b. Bid prices shall exclude applicable taxes; however, sales tax shall apply to all orders in accordance with local, state, and federal law. Pricing shall be inclusive of materials, shipping, fuel, etc. c. All bid items shall be shipped to various jobs at various locations within the City limits of Fayetteville, Arkansas. The city anticipates multiple deliveries taking place for various projects through 12/31/22.
