Specifications include, but are not limited to: Perform "On-Call" Elevator repair work for the City of Little Rock. Minimum Requirements A. The vendor shall assign a qualified repair person to each Work Order issued by the City. B. The vendor shall perform all work. Subcontracting shall not be allowed. C. The vendor shall have a qualified repair person on site within the following time frames: 1. Twenty four (24) hours for general requests 2. One (1) hour for requests labeled as "emergency" D. The vendor shall record travel time from one (1) city job to another city job on each work order or invoice. E. The vendor shall supply parts and materials used on each job. F. The vendor shall secure approval from Building Services for any repairs that will exceed $500.00 in parts. 1. Failure to secure approval for these repairs prior to work being completed will be grounds for termination of contract. G. The vendor shall perform, at a minimum, the following services: 1. Trouble shoot and diagnose malfunctions in elevator equipment 2. Repair or replace malfunctioning components 3. Install and connect elevator equipment and fixtures 4. Compute the required capacity and amount of materials required for installations. 5. Read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings 6. Note and correct deviations from elevator codes and regulations. H. The vendor shall itemize each job, giving hours and materials used on each job. I. The vendor shall secure a permit on all jobs as required by the City Codes Department. J. The vendor shall perform all work at the quoted hourly rate, no consideration will be given to overtime rates for afterhours work. K. The City reserves the right to get other quotes from additional elevator companies for major alterations and new installations. L. Public Works Department will not be responsible for any invoice in which the work orders were not generated through Building Services.
