Specifications include, but are not limited to: Perform work as directed by Staff in the planning process to prepare a Master Plan Update for West Bank Park, located on the west bank of the Missouri River, north of the Central Avenue West Bridge to approximately 4th St. N.E. (legal description: SE, SENE, Section 1, Section 2, Township 20, Range 3E, Mark 149). The completed Master Plan Update shall consist of a narrative, cost estimate, graphics and color visuals, all provided in both electronic PDF, and hard copies, including 1 reproducible set, in 8 1/2 by 11 inch format. The planning services to be provided by the Consultant will include the following: 1. Review and analyze the existing Master Plan schematics, aerial photos with contours, and existing utilities, rights-of-way and property lines. (Summary of the environmental assessment completed in 2003 is also available for review.) 2. Analyze current facilities and program functions and make recommendations for future facilities and programs. 3. Consult other planning documents that may relate to or have bearing upon West Bank Park (including the West Bank Urban Renewal Plan). 4. Work with Staff to conduct Focus Group Meetings with stakeholders, user groups, citizen groups, etc.
