Project Description: Turnkey Commercial Swimming Pool slide replacement. Scope of Work: • Contractor to furnish, deliver, assemble, and fully install, one (1) new S.R. Smith Vortex commercial swimming pool slide and stairway with handrails. • Contractor shall install waterline to new slide from existing water piping. o Existing water supply line must be located at deck next to existing slide for simple connections. • Contractor to de-install, demolish, and properly dispose of one (1) existing commercial swimming pool slide. Minimum Specifications for S.R. Smith Vortex Swimming Pool Slide: • Minimum Height: 10 ft. 7 inches (10'7") (7'6" to seat) • Minimum Length: 19 ft. 11 inches (19’11”) • Flume: Closed/Full • Construction: Rotomolded Plastic for strength and durability • Minimum Water Delivery System: Up to 30 GPM, can be plumbed to pool return • Maximum Weight Capacity: 325 lbs. (147 kg) • Safety Features: o Semi-Circular Staircase: must be constructed from Structural Grade HighDensity Polyethylene (HDPE). Staircase steps must be slip-resistant • Minimum Step Depth: Nine inches (9”) • Maximum Vertical Spacing: Seven and one-half inches (7.5”) o Handrails: Two (2) stairway handrails constructed from 304 Stainless Steel (SS) Pipe. • Warranty: o Pool Slide – Minimum Three (3) years limited manufacturer warranty o Labor & Installation – Minimum One (1) year warranty
