Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Contractor shall accept and admit intellectually disabled clients from across the state on an emergency basis twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week. B. Contractor shall provide trained staff twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week that specialize in working with children and youth with disabilities ages zero (0) to twenty-one (21) as referred by DCFS. C. The trained staff shall have the ability to meet the needs of this specialized population. D. Contractor shall provide an array of individually tailored services and activities for this specialized population, including, without limitation, reinforcement of therapeutic services, communication, mobility, behavior shaping and management, socialization, and daily living skills. E. DHS expects, based on historical usage, that it will need placement for four (4) residents of either gender on a short-term basis at any given time. However, Contractor shall be required to have the capacity to receive more than four (4) children based on need. F. Contractor shall work in conjunction with DCFS regarding referrals for appropriate level of care and completing the DDS waiver application.
