Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall conduct an initial analysis of data extracts provided by the Arkansas Department of Corrections (DOC) and provide a preliminary review which includes potential data issues and trends which may merit consideration in the projections report. Prior to the beginning of the full report, the Contractor shall meet with personnel from the DOC to discuss the findings of the initial analysis. The Contractor shall provide DOC with an opportunity to rectify any data issues and determine which notable trends should be further explored for the full report. Upon contract award, Contractor shall sign a data sharing agreement provided by DOC. The Contractor shall assist DOC in developing a ten (10) year population projection of adult correctional populations. The projection must be created using the Contractor’s projection model and must include, at minimum, the following: Establishing, reviewing, and evaluating the fitness of key projection assumptions and the modification of said assumptions for the model. Determining and/or enhancing the elements of the model, such as but not limited to prison intake, prisoner identifications, prisoner statuses, and prisoner movements. Recommending changes that may be dictated by changes in policies and practices. Determining and analyzing data needed for the model. Entering data into the model. Assisting in the preparation of automatic loading of the model.
