This bid asks for two options. Option A consist of the criterial listed below and addressed specifications and parameters for a "traditionally" printed book, consisting of grey scale, spot color and process color pages. Option B asks for pricing for an "all-color" four-color process book and otherwise must meet or exceed the criteria for Option A. Bidder is required to quote both options. The decision to award the bid will be made according to the information provided under Option B. The Office of Student Affairs reserves the right to order Option A or B at its discretion. 1,700 copies, 230 pages; 9-inch by 12-inch trim size, plus basic cover and end sheets. The Razorback will be submitted to the printer through online platforms or by a delivery method mutually agreeable to the Office of Student Media and the Printer. All elements, including vector art and photographs, will be place into Adobe InDesign page layouts and exported to Adobe Acrobat for output. Acrobat settings will be provided by the printer. Output from files must be to high-quality image setting equipment providing at least 1250 DPI or higher. Pages may contain bleeds. Photos must reproduce at 266 LPI or higher. Printer must individually color correct all photos (no batching) and attach correct color profiles for maximum printing quality. Calibration tests may be executed as part of the photo reproduction process between the Razorback and the printer.
