Specifications include, but are not limited to: DHS, Contract Support Section is soliciting bids to provide Pager Services. DHS seeks a vendor that is able to provide adequate pagers and paging services throughout the State of Arkansas to aid its staff in providing quality service to its clients. The vendor shall be required to provide sufficient equipment to meet the changing demands in the communication field, and be a licensed carrier for their equipment. 2. The vendor must provide all personnel, labor, equipment, tools, supplies, materials, transportation, licenses and insurance to supply alphanumeric and/or numeric one-way pager service to DHS. 3. The vendor must be able to provide pager services throughout all seventy-five (75) counties in Arkansas (see state map with listing of counties on page 9). 4. All service is to be provided twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week including State holidays (New Year’s Day, Dr. King Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day). 5. A local account representative must be available for the length of the contract. 6. All pager numbers must be accessible from the area code within the local calling area without long distance service charges. The current area code exchanges for Arkansas are as follows: 479, 501 and 870.
