Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. CURRENT TELECAST AND DISTRIBUTION 1. The programming produced at the Television Center is currently distributed 24/7/365 in the following ways by way of the Tightrope Media Systems Cablecast systems: i. The originating source feed is a digital high-definition (HD) 1080 59.94i signal.; ii. Cable television: Cox Communications, AT&T U-verse, and OzarksGo. The Cox encoder is fed a converted analog standard definition (SD) source. The AT&T U-verse encoder is fed a converted digital SD source. The OzarksGo encoder is fed a digital high definition 1080P source.; B. REMOVAL OF CURRENT TIGHTROPE MEDIA SYSTEM 1. The current Tightrope Media Systems Cablecast systems (SX2HD, CG 330 and CG 250) are legacy hardware and software from 2014 and 2015, no longer supported for service by Tightrope. The equipment no longer qualifies for a service contract with Tightrope. The current system is built upon Microsoft Windows 7, which is no longer supported by Microsoft.; 2. The current equipment shall be removed by the Vendor/Installer.; C. VIDEO ON DEMAND SERVICES 1. The replacement/upgraded Tightrope Media Systems equipment will serve as the video on demand system, replacing the current Granicus stream and video on demand solution.; 2. City Staff will be responsible for migrating Granicus VOD content to the new Tightrope VOD solution.; 1. Tightrope Media Systems Replacement/Upgrade: i. 1x CBL-VIO4-600 4 channel configurable SD/HD SDl encode/decode, multi-format server with 10TB of usable RAID5 storage in a 3 RU chassis. Redundant power. Selectable SD or HD SDI with embedded audio. Pulls in RTP, RTMP and HLS streams. Includes Cablecast Automation, Video and CG server Software. Includes graphics, crawl, bug, bug text on output. 3 year hardware warranty, system commissioning and one year of software assurance included.; ii. 1x CBL-STRUPG-20TB Ten TB storage upgrade for Cablecast VIO and VOD servers to increase content storage to 20TB.; iii. 2x CBL-VIOLITE-CG-SVR Cablecast VIO server hardware with 8TB storage in a 1RU chassis configured for CG playout on up to two (2) channels. 3 year hardware warranty and system commissioning included.
