Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4.1 Class A Live Fire Training Building will be constructed in compliance with NFPA 1402 Specifications. 4.2 Building must be at a minimum 4,160 Sq. Ft with four (4) stories. 4.3 Building will be constructed using 13- 40 FT STD HT ISO shipping containers. 4.4 Building must have a 4-Story Stairwell. The first three floors simulating a breezeway apartment building. The first two runs will give access to floors two and three with the third run of stairs giving access to the roof top platform 4.5 Building must include two work platforms. One platform will be 16’X40’ long spanning the entire roof of two 3RD floor containers. The second work platform will be placed on the roof of the 4TH story at a dimension of 8’X40’ with built in mounting “D” rings for high angle repel training. Work platforms and exterior stair landing frames shall be constructed of either 2” X 6” X 3/16” REC Tubing or C6 Channel. Work platforms will be built to span entire roof top container with framing cross members on 48” centers perpendicular to 40 FT spans. Walking surfaces of work platforms must be decked 14 Gauge anti-skid tread plate. All work platforms over 30” from ground to walking surface must comply with OSHA specifications regarding elevated guardrails and handrail compliance. “D” rings must meet or exceed NFPA 1983 Requirements. 4.6 Guard rails will be constructed of 2” X 2” X 14 gauge SQ tubing at a height of 42”- 44” in height. All guard rails and elevated work platforms shall have a 4-inch toe board surrounding all walking surfaces. 4.7 All stairways shall be built in compliance with International Building Code (IBC) specifications. All handrails must be 36”-38” in height measuring from the top of the rail to the toe of the tread riser. All guardrails and handrails shall be coated with OSHA Safety Yellow
