Library Space Needs & Service Delivery Study

Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Siloam Springs Public Library seeks proposals to evaluate the current facility, to consider the current Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital as a library location, and to evaluate land requirements for possible new library construction. The project will also include a study to evaluate existing service delivery and project future service delivery requirements. The Respondent, by submitting a proposal agrees that any cost incurred in response to this RFP or activities associated with this request, is borne by the Respondent and cannot be billed to the City of Siloam Springs. It will be essential to: 1. Understand the demographics of the City of Siloam Springs and its adjacent communities as it relates to the current and future needs of the Library; 2. Thoroughly understand the service delivery processes of the current library, make recommendations for more efficient service delivery, and identify any technological or facility resources needed; 3. Review the current space allocation, layouts and facility limitations and make short and long­term recommendations to make the current space more efficient; 4. Identify potential near­term/low­cost strategies for any immediate needs pending funding for longer­term solutions; 5. Provide facility options to include, but not be limited to:· Renovation and remodeling (to include structural and environmental assessments);· New construction
