HD-only A. Amplification Must use LDMOS RF amplifier modules, each: a. Fully hot-swappable b. Operating in Class C c. With automatic foldback and return for high VSWR or thermal overload conditions Power supplies must be: a. Independent and hot-swappable b. Power factor corrected (≥ 0.98) c. Accept input power from 208–240 VAC single-phase or 3-phase B. Exciter Transmitter must include a fully digital exciter, featuring: a. Digital signal processing (DSP) b. Web interface with remote configuration and control c. Local touchscreen or LCD interface d. Optional software upgrades for HD Radio C. Monitoring and Remote Access The system must include: a. SNMP monitoring b. Web GUI (HTTP/HTTPS) c. Support for GPIO control d. Alarm/fault status indicators both locally and remotely
