Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Vendor shall be responsible for scheduled maintenance and any/all breakdown repairs. II. Dealers/Resellers responding to this solicitation must be certified by the manufacturer for maintenance/service of the equipment being bid. Dealer/Reseller must provide a current letter of certification, from the manufacturer, verifying their level of certification for maintenance/service with their bid response. Any certification document or letter with a date over one (1) year old, shall not be acceptable. a. In the event a designated dealer/reseller fails to fulfill the contractual obligations for the maintenance/service of the equipment the manufacturer will be expected to either assume or provide for such maintenance/service at no additional cost or inconvenience to the using agency. The dealer/reseller must secure from the manufacturer, in writing, their consent to fulfill the remainder contractual obligations should the dealer/reseller fails to. III. Maintenance/service must be provided during normal business hours for both preventive and emergency service. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM CST, excluding State of Arkansas authorized holidays. The Contractor shall maintain adequate staff on such working days. Additional days can be proclaimed as holidays by the Governor, by Executive Proclamation. IV. Telephone response times shall not exceed four (4) working hours after notification. The Vendor’s business telephone number must be a local or toll free number.
