A. Daily Bathrooms • Sweep and mop utilizing a disinfectant • Clean all mirrors and fixtures • Clean and disinfect thoroughly all toilets, urinals, wash basins, and dispensers • Restock supplies (toilet paper, hand towels, soap, etc.). Replace bags. • Empty all waste and sanitary receptables and place in outside dumpsters. • Spot clean walls, partitions, doors, switches, and counters Kitchen/Kitchenettes • Sweep and mop all tiled areas • Empty all wastebaskets and place in outside dumpsters. Replace bags. • Wipe off refrigerator • Clean microwave • Disinfect counters and sink • Wipe off tables and chairs Office/Meeting/Conference Room Space • Vacuum all carpeted areas • Sweep and mop all tiled areas • Empty all wastebaskets and place in outside dumpsters. Replace bags weekly or more often if needed. • Clean both sides of any glass surfaces or panels • Spot clean walls, partitions, doors, switches • Clean all conference table tops and chairs • Dust desks, bookcases, cubicles, and ledges Note: Office spaces are to be cleaned after 5:00 p.m. Working papers, personal items, and electronic items must not be disturbed. Main Entrances, lobby and corridors • Vacuum all carpeted areas • Sweep and mop all tiled areas including stairs and treads. • Clean both sides of doors and panels • Sweep, vacuum, or clean entrance rugs/floor mats • Disinfect all doorknobs and hand railings • Empty all wastebaskets and place outside dumpsters. Replace bags weekly or more often if needed. • Maintain an orderly, clean, safe, odor free janitorial closet Exterior • Sweep entrances • Inspect and remove all debri from front entrance, sidewalks, yard, and around dumpster • Empty all receptacles and place outside dumpsters. Replace bags weekly or more often if needed. B. Weekly: • Wipe down all blinds and window ledges in entire building • Clean the front desk in the main lobby (atrium) • Disinfect all restroom partitions, doors, floors and walls C. Monthly: • Dust picture frames/wall hangings in entire facility • Light scrubbing with buffer tile/wood floors in entire facility • Disinfect all trash cans and receptacles • Wipe down all file cabinets D. Quarterly • Dust overhead lighting fixtures in entire facility E. Annually: • Deep clean carpeted areas with an extractor • Deep clean tile floors and walls, including grout • Shampoo all carpets • Clean shop and curatorial areas not previously cleaned • Waxing and/or polishing required areas
