2.2 SCOPE OF WORK NWACC seeks proposals from qualified firms to provide insurance for Section 1.1, (1.) International Students and/or Section 1.1, (2.) Study Abroad Participants to ensure the College provides the highest level of service to our students, faculty, staff, and participants in these two programs. The potential providers may offer proposals on providing insurance for either program for International Students or Study Abroad Participants or both. D. International Student Health Insurance 1. The policy shall provide a. Comprehensive medical coverage, including doctor visits, hospitalizations, prescriptions, immunizations and emergency care. b. Preventative care and mental health services to support student well-being c. Emergency evacuation and repatriation coverage as required by F-1 visa holders. d. Affordable premiums. e. 24/7 customer service and multilingual support to assist international students. f. Compliance with SEVIS g. Compliance with Institutional requirements. h. Ensuring students can easily provide proof of coverage i. Welcome packets and clear communication to students about their coverage and network of providers. j. Minimum requirements: have been established for 5 years and worked with comparably sized community Colleges k. MMR vaccine and TB testing to be included in price-any other required vaccinations l. Options for dependents (F-2) E. Study Abroad Insurance for Students, Faculty, Staff, and Participants 1. The policy shall provide a. Medical coverage for illness and injury while traveling b. Emergency evacuation and repatriation services in case of medical or security emergencies. c. Emergency Family Travel Arrangements d. Trip interruption, lost luggage, and travel delay coverage to minimize financial risks. e. Accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) benefits f. 24/7 worldwide assistance services, including emergency medical referrals, legal assistance, and translation support g. Coverage Flexibility including shot-term and long-term travel options. h. On-line features and telephone applications that consist of easily navigable information about the insurance benefits that can assist students in finding medial practices in their locale. i.
