1. Intensive In-Home Services a. Contractor shall ensure all Practitioners receive supervision through consultation, team supervision, and individual supervision. Individual supervision and team supervision must be provided on a weekly basis. Supervisors typically support teams of five (5) Practitioners but can supervise up to ten (10) Practitioners at one time. Contractor shall have a Licensed Clinical Consultant who typically supports up to eight (8) teams (note that this may fluctuate based on staff capacity and ramp-up of new teams). The licensed clinical consultant shall be accountable for guiding treatment. Documentation of dates and times of supervision shall be submitted to DCFS upon request. 1) Practitioner shall meet individually with their supervisor to problem solve barriers as they arise and plan for professional development. 2) As part of team supervision, the Practitioner shall review all cases with their supervisor and licensed consultant, as well as other specialists to get feedback on interventions and case conceptualization. b. Each Practitioner shall provide services to an average of five (5) families concurrently. Contractor shall determine appropriate caseloads by considering the safety needs of each family’s children, the needs of each family, and the intensity of present interventions. 1) The Practitioner shall provide IIHS in Diversion cases, including DYS cases, for an expected four (4) to six (6) months with face-to-face contacts three (3) times per week and decreased as determined by the Practitioner, the Practitioner’s supervisor, clinical consultant, and approved by the in-home program manager. 2) The Practitioner shall provide IIHS in Reunification cases for an expected six (6) to nine (9) months, with face-to-face contacts three (3) times per week and decreased as indicated. IIHS Reunification cases must be preapproved by DCFS in-home program manager. 3) Contractor shall be available to the family twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week, by phone or in person, depending on the need.
