Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Prior to demolition, all services such as water/sewer, electrical and gas shall be disconnected and removed from the equipment and structure accordingly. The contractor shall be responsible for coordinating with the service providers and performing all work necessary to assure that services are properly disconnected, closed and shut off. The contractor shall remove from campus and dispose of all project debris in compliance with environmental regulations. (All debris shall be recycled. Proof of recycling shall be part of this contract). All disposal fees shall be the responsibility of the contractor. 2. Contractor shall furnish all necessary materials, equipment, and labor to demolish the house at 353 Watkins, using methods as required to complete work within limitation of governing regulations, including but not limited to removal of, shrubs and trees, front and rear concrete walkways, fencing attached to the house and southside fencing, (paved, concrete, or gravel) driveways, structural supports, equipment pads, block or concrete foundation walls that extend or protrude below grade shall be removed at the time of demolition. Demolish and remove below grade construction to a minimum depth of 2’-0” below grade. Include all utility piping. 3. All furniture left inside the house is to be part of demo and must be demo’ed along with the house. 4. Upon completion of demolition, the Contractor shall provide any topsoil or clean fill dirt that may be needed to fill voids, depressions or holes on the lot. The lot site shall be compacted, graded and free of protrusions, debris and abrupt edges. The goal is to create the desired topography, soil profiles and drainage patterns to support restoration efforts and to assure that the existing storm water system can be maintained after completion of the project. 5. All permits, fee, and licenses shall be secured and paid for by Contractor, including disposal charges as required to ensure progress of work will proceed. Work shall comply with requirements of governing authorities in demolition of existing utilities as may be required. Any damages to any utilities, whether recorded or unrecorded, by contractor shall be repaired by the contractor at no expense to the owner.
