The objective is to enter into a contract with a qualified vendor to conduct historic research services for Historic Arkansas Museum. Duties will include, but are not limited to the following. Record references to Arkansas artists and artisans data (i.e. names, ages, and occupations, types and ranges of objects/art made) from documentary manuscript collections (i.e. letters, journals, ledgers, etc.) from the Arkansas History Commission, University of Arkansas Special Collection, etc. Record reference to Arkansas artists and artisans contained in the Arkansas Gazette, Arkansas Democrat, as well as all other extant newspaper records held in the archives of the Arkansas History Commission, beginning in 1871 through 1899. Record references to Arkansas artists and artisans contained in the United States Census Schedules for General Population and Manufactures for all Arkansas counties during the decennial year 1900. All data shall be entered into the Arkansas Made Project (ACCESS) database. Researcher must be familiar with ACCESS and PAST PERFECT software No additional specifications were given.
