Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Width- 28 foot wide Roadway Construction with 2 foot wide shoulders and 2 foot wide ditch; B. Length- Approximately 9625 linear feet; C. General Location- beginning at a point Approximately 3 miles of the intersection of E. Wallin Mnt. Road and US Hwy 71, then in a Southerly direction approximately 1.8 to a point on the existing E. Wallin Mnt. Road in Sections 13, 24 & 25, T15N-R30W, Washington County Arkansas; D. The bidder will be responsible for Storm Water Management Plan; E. The existing road shall remain open to local and closed to through traffic during construction. The contractor shall be responsible for proper barricades, lights and signing within the limits of construction. All construction signing will be done according to standards set forth in the Arkansas 2014 standard specification for Highway Construction and as shown on the standard drawings; F. The bidder shall remove and reset mailboxes as necessary. Mailboxes are to remain in an upright position and accessible to mail carrier’s during construction; G. The bidder is responsible for clearing all trees, brush and other debris within the Right of Way; H. The bidder shall blend new ditch flowlines and slopes to match existing flowlines at the beginning and end of the project, and at side road intersections; I. The bidder is responsible for providing and maintaining temporary fencing as needed to ensure livestock are contained. Permanent fencing installation is the responsibility of the bidder upon completion of roadway construction. See attached sheet 5 of 21 for quantities, types and locations; J. The bidder shall install new RCP Cross Drains and CMP Side Drains. See attached sheet 5 of 21 for quantities and locations; K. The bidder shall complete all subgrade construction activities and final 2 inch pavement surface construction. See attached sheet 5 of 21 for quantities. See attached sheet 3, sheet 4, sheet 6 of 21 for Typical Designs; L. The bidder shall submit all material specification to Washington County Road Department for approval; and M. All Material testing (Quality Control) will be performed by Washington County Road Department.
