Specifications include, but are not limited to: The services of a Professional Engineer (Brownfield’s Qualified Environmental Professional. The task will include project supervision through completion of construction. The Pulaski County Brownfields Program and the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is designed to empower states, communities, and other stakeholders in economic redevelopment to work together in a timely manner to prevent, assess, safely clean up, and sustainably reuse brownfields. Because concerns about future environmental risks and liability can hinder redevelopment, the Pulaski County Brownfields seeks to minimize the uncertainty surrounding actual or perceived contamination associated with these brownfield sites. The Engineer is to have the following qualifications: Experience with EPA funded brownfields assessment activities Provides project management and community outreach services Conducting ASTM E 1527-13 Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments Review of brownfields activities and deliverables Supporting the resolution of any environmental site risks Preparing an inventory of potential brownfields sites within Pulaski County Development of clean-up plans Submittal of monthly written updates of brownfields sites assessed Travel may be required to brownfields project sites within Pulaski County Reports to Pulaski County Brownfields Program Administrator
