Specifications include, but are not limited to: Review and counsel regarding the campaign objectives and communicating their relevancy to key constituents as the effort moves forward. - Review and comment on the case statement for the campaign. - Assist the program to identify major gift prospects and bring them into a closer relationship with the client. - Provide guidance in developing the overall campaign plan. - Provide assistance in identifying and recruiting steering committee members for the campaign. - Provide guidance to the Chancellor in his/her role in the campaign and in the broader advancement area. - Provide counsel on the role in the System President, the Board, and the ASU Foundation must play in providing leadership in the capital effort - Provide guidance in the major gift phase of the effort, insisting that it is carefully organized and is given the highest priority in terms of timing, emphasis, and attention.
