Best rating of Aor higher). • Present a minimum of three competitive quotes for each required insurance coverage type. • Advise on insurance market trends, underwriting considerations, and policy language. • Facilitate placement of policies, binders, and endorsements in a timely manner. B. Coverage Types • Property Insurance (Real) • Flood Insurance (NFIP or private market if required) • Business Interruption/Extra Expense • General Liability (if applicable as part of package) • Builder’s Risk (if applicable) • Director and Officer Liability C. Consulting & Risk Management Support • Provide strategic recommendations on policy terms, limits, deductibles, and cost-saving options. • Assist in identifying insurance gaps or duplication of coverage. • Provide ongoing support for changes in property schedules, ownership, and exposure. • Notify the agency in advance of renewal dates and necessary action items. D. Claims Support • Provide assistance in filing, tracking, and resolving property insurance claims. • Advocate on behalf of the agency in the event of disputes with the carrier. E. Compliance & Reporting • Ensure policies meet HUD insurance requirements and applicable local, state, and federal mandates. • Provide certificates of insurance and endorsements in a timely manner. • Maintain complete files of coverage, renewals, and changes.
