Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Boulder invites qualified organizations, companies, vendors / manufacturers or other entities to submit a proposal to develop, install , operate and maintain a "third generation" bikeshare program in the City of Boulder. The ideal program would incorporate information technology with shared bicycles providing a transportation alternative to motor vehicle trips for Boulder's residents, employees and visitors in the central portion of the community. An effective bikeshare system will help meet the sustainability goals established by the City of Boulder by reducing single‐occupant vehicle trips, vehicle miles of travel and transportation‐related emissions.
