A. The anticipated start date for ASL services described in this IFB shall be upon award. B. Primarily, ASL interpretation assignments shall take place on National Park College campus. Services may be requested off-campus as needed. C. A significant portion of ASL interpretation assignments are routine and scheduled in advance, with a minimum of two business days’ notice to the ASL interpreter/Contractor. There may also be urgent scenarios that arise, and these require a faster on-site response time both from the treatment provider and the ASL interpreter, sometimes as quick as two hours. D. Amount of work hours may vary depending on need. E. No work guarantees or minimum hours shall be given. F. Mileage to/from job site: federal mileage allowance or submitted mileage requirement, whichever is less. G. Contractor shall be/provide an experienced and qualified on-site ASL interpreter. H. Contractor shall provide consistent, detailed billing for all ASL interpretation assignments indicating: a. Interpreter name b. Dates and times interpreter services provided c. locations of services provided for each date d. Mileage traveled for each date I. Contractor(s) shall provide ASL services in a professional manner. J. National Park College reserves the right to replace an ASL interpreter if the interpreter fails to perform services properly and/or acts in an unprofessional manner. K. NPC shall be managing the ASL interpretation services contract. Selected NPC individuals shall monitor service activities for the duration of the contract. This includes but not limited to services satisfaction, qualifications of interpreters, billing practices, and follow-up on potential issues and complaints.
