DESCRIPTION OF WORK: 1. The work includes placing asphalt surface course on various county roads in the Faulkner County along with other county asphalt paving work as designated by the County Judge or his designee that the Contractor is willing to include in the paving work. 2. One unit price per ton of asphalt will be submitted for all labor, equipment, and material necessary to produce and placement of the ACHM Surface Course PG 64-22 at an average of two inches thick on any county road in Faulkner County. 3. One unit price per ton of asphalt will be submitted for all labor, equipment and material necessary to produce and placement of the ACHM Binder Course PG 64-22 at an average of two and one half inches on any county road in Faulkner County. 4. One unit price per ton of asphalt will be submitted for all labor, equipment and material necessary to produce and placement of Ultrathin Bonded Wearing Course (Type B material and construction shall be in accordance with ARDOT special provisions). 5. One unit price per ton mile will be submitted for delivery to the designated county road to be overlaid. Faulkner County will multiply the unit price bid for delivery by the actual miles to the center of the county road being overlaid and add that delivery rate to the unit price bid for labor, equipment, and material on the particular county road and this will be the unit price per ton the contractor will be paid for on that particular county road. 6. One unit price per ton will be submitted for ACHM Surface Course PG64-22 FOB plant. 7. One unit price per ton will be submitted for ACHM Binder Course PG64-22 FOB plant.
