Specifications include, but are not limited to: Crossing Plates. All trench plates offered by contractor shall be able to withstand H-20 traffic loadings without any movement, fabricated from ASTM A36 steel (minimum) and sized in accordance with Maricopa Associations of Governments (MAG) Detail 211. ACTEK Lifting Devices. The City of Mesa Utilities Departments invested in ACTEK model lifting devices for steel crossing plates. Equipment Inspection and Service. All ordered equipment shall be inspected, serviced and repaired by Contractor throughout the life of the rental/project as needed to keep all equipment in good working order as stated in the specifications. The Contractor should replace damaged or missing equipment within twenty-four (24) hours after notification by City personnel. The City should not be charged the unit price for any worksite equipment that the Contractor has failed to correct or replace within the twenty-four (24) hour stipulation. Condition of Equipment. Contractor shall insure that the equipment is in good, safe, and proper working condition before equipment is delivered. Contractor shall provide maintenance records of equipment prior to delivery. All rental equipment should be serviced completely by contractor before pick up or delivery and ready in all aspects for use. Inventory. The Contractor should maintain sufficient inventory levels as to provide daily support for the City's requirements without delays.
