Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1 The cabinet assembly shall be compatible with existing system hardware, software, telemetry and signal controllers used by the City of Phoenix. 2.2 The cabinet shall be furnished and assembled conforming to the latest revision of NEMA Standards Publication TS 2-2003, Traffic Controller Assemblies with NTCIP Requirements, 2011 National Electrical Code, National Electrical Manufacturers Association, hereinafter called NEMA TS2 Standard, except where modified in these specifications. 2.3 The cabinet assembly shall be manufactured in accordance with the standards IPC-A-610 Class II building electronics assemblies’ standards, hereinafter called IPC Class 2 Standard, except where modified in these specifications. 2.4 The Offeror shall provide documentation that the cabinet manufacturer’s staff have been trained in IPC class 2 Standards to ensure quality of the finished products. Additionally, to ensure quality and standards, a local factory direct certified technician shall be available to provide technical support and assistance.
