Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Development of a comprehensive hydrologic and hydraulic analysis using a two dimensional model for the existing conditions. The modeling effort will be used to identify flood-prone areas while accounting for the effects of existing infrastructure. 2. Preparation of a detailed and comprehensive review of past drainage studies for subdivisions, private development projects, and roadway infrastructure projects 3. Preparation of a flood hazard analysis that will identify existing flood hazards and drainage problems in the area. Resulting floodplains should be prepared to a level of accuracy sufficient for regulatory purposes. A Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) will not be prepared at this time nor will the study be submitted to FEMA. 4. Preparation of a Flood Mitigation Study to identify and describe potential infrastructure-based solutions for floodprone areas and to provide general estimated costs as well as advantages & disadvantages for each solution. 5. Development of selected preferred alternative flood control solutions to a conceptual level. No plans, artist renderings, or construction documents are anticipated with this study. 6. Prepare future conditions modeling that will emphasize a holistic approach to managing runoff in the area while also considering the effects of development on the watershed.
