Maricopa County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) South Phoenix Healthy Start (SPHS) program is seeking to contract with a Mental Health Consultant to provide social, emotional, reflective, clinical consultation and training to SPHS Case Managers and staff working with pregnant women, and parent infant dyads birth to two years of age. The Mental Health Consultant will perform the services as outlined in the scope of work in order to support SPHS staff to identify and address social and emotional well-being issues and needs of at-risk pregnant women, infants/toddlers, and their families. These activities will take place at the South Phoenix Health Start offices in Phoenix, AZ or at the office of the awarded Contractor. In addition, there may be opportunities for telemedicine appointments. On occasion, the Mental Health Consultant may be asked to accompany the case manager home visitors on home visits for high-risk consultations. The number of hours to be worked is dependent upon the number of needed services but it is currently estimated to be approximately 80 hours a week. Contractors may apply as individuals/sole proprietors or organizations may apply as entities. Any contract resulting from this solicitation will be a requirements contract and there shall be no guarantee of a minimum or maximum number of hours to be provided. No services are to be provided without a valid purchase order and the hourly rate requested shall be inclusive of all costs to perform the services.
