Provide interstate ground-based and/or airbased transportation to return fugitives of justice to the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) in Flagstaff, Arizona. This usually involves the transportation of approximately 50-70 people annually. 2.1.1 Independent Contractor shall provide transportation to and from any location in the continental United States, upon notification by the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO). Special provisions will be made for any services outside of the continental United States. 2.1.2 CCSO shall provide advance notification to the jurisdiction holding a department inmate identifying the Independent Contractor who will be acting as the Department’s agent. 2.1.3 The Independent Contractor shall be responsible for notifying the holding jurisdiction of the expected pick up date and time. The Independent Contractor shall ensure awareness of and compliance with all security regulations of the particular jurisdiction to effect transfer of custody to the Independent Contractor’s staff.
