Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of Arizona is seeking to partner with one or more experienced external providers of outplacement services for eligible faculty, appointed professionals, and staff at both supervisory/administrative and individual contributor levels. Individual departments make the decision whether to refer employees affected by reorganization/downsizing for outplacement services and, if so, whether to offer services to all separating employees or only to those at or above a certain level (e.g., assistant director). Prospective vendors are asked to describe the available range of outplacement services, including both individual and group options. Please specify how employees would access these services (e.g., online, face-to-face in a range of geographic areas, teleconferencing, on-campus services). The range of services should include but is not limited to • Individualized career planning, career skills assessment, and related coaching • Instruction in job search strategies, including effective use of online networking and social media, tailored to employees’ needs and experience levels • Assistance with preparing résumés and cover letters • Interview preparation and role-plays • Referral to job retraining or skill updating services • Any other offered services
