The City seeks proposals from qualified Consultants with demonstrated expertise in urban planning, infill development, adaptive reuse, and redevelopment to conduct a comprehensive rewrite of the Glendale General Plan. The selected Consultant will deliver a Plan that establishes a clear vision, along with actionable goals, objectives, and policies, to shape the City’s development and redevelopment strategies, with a particular emphasis on integrating infill, adaptive reuse, and redevelopment initiatives. The Consultant will be responsible for creating a Plan that serves as a guiding document for the City Council, Planning Commission, City departments, developers, property owners, and residents, ensuring appropriate growth and redevelopment throughout Glendale. Key elements of the Plan will address all aspects of urban development, including but not limited to: • Demographics • Land Use • Public Facilities and Infrastructure • Transportation • Environmental Considerations • Economic Growth Recommendations
