Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The home inspection will be performed in accordance with the Standards of Professional Practice for Arizona Home Inspectors established by the Arizona Board of Technical Registration https://btr.az.gov/ . Any home inspector authorized to conduct an inspection for this contract must be certified and registered with the Arizona Board of Technical Registration. Inspector are required to pass the National Home Inspector Examination. 2. The City of Phoenix personnel will make arrangement for entry to the house whether occupied or vacant. The contractor will inspect the property within ten (10) calendar days of request. Contractor shall respond to all City service requests within 48 hours of initial request. Contractor shall provide an estimated time of arrival at this time. Contractor must state a realistic and true time when they can schedule the work. If this proposed schedule is acceptable to the City representative, the Inspector may book the job. Housing Department Regular Work Hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, holidays excluded. Due to the location of work and the condition of the tenants, is may be necessary to re-schedule Home Inspection to accommodate the tenants. 3. Contractor’s employees must have City issued badges and be in uniforms that bear an easily visible company name or logo on the front and/or back. All employees except for owners and management (this does not include supervisors) must be in company uniform while on site. The identification badge shall contain Company’s name, employee’s name, signature and employee’s clearly identifiable photograph. Identification badges shall be visibly worn at all times while on City premises. Uniforms are to be approved by Housing Department and are not to be dirty, stained, or torn. Employees shall not expose tattoos, wear colors or clothing associated with gangs. All Contractor personnel including owners, management, and supervisors must wear company and City badges in a clearly visible area while on-site. Only authorized Contractor employees are allowed on the premises of the City facilities/buildings. Contractor employees are not to be accompanied in the work area by acquaintances, family members, assistants or any other person unless said person is an authorized Contractor employee.
