Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4.3.1. The Contractor shall collect all trash, which may include but is not limited to paper, litter, refuse, rubber, advertising signs on fences or posts, bicycles, shopping carts, furniture and appliances. 4.3.2. All litter collected shall become the property of the Contractor and shall be disposed of in a legal manner. 4.3.3. All litter bagged by the Contractor shall be picked up and removed from the ROW on the same day of collection. The Contractor shall also collect and dispose of any bagged and loose refuse that may have been left by other entities. 4.3.4. Rubber tires and tire pieces shall be collected, kept separate, and disposed of at an ADEQ approved Waste Tire Collection Site. The Department will provide reimbursement for these dump fees to complete assigned work. Upon completion, the Contractor shall submit all necessary receipts for disposal. The Contractor shall be reimbursed only for the actual cost incurred to the Contractor. 4.3.5. For the continuous and ongoing safety of the Contractor’s employees, the Contractor’s truck and operator shall remain nearby their employees at all times and shall have a means to maintain communication with all employees at all times. 4.3.6. When not transporting other crew members, the vehicle operator shall perform litter pick up services.
