Specifications include, but are not limited to: Group 1: Application of herbicides, to control weed growth, on rights-of-way and/or storm drainage easements. Contractor shall apply herbicide per manufacturer’s specifications. Contractor shall achieve manufacturer’s expected results when herbicide is applied per manufacturer’s instructions. All herbicide applications shall be inspected by a City representative to determine the successfulness of the application. All herbicide applications shall be visually identifiable via spray indicator dye. Contractor shall use a State of Arizona Commercial Licensed Herbicide Applicator. A copy of the license must be included with response. Contractor shall have on staff a State of Arizona – Registrar of Contractors Qualifying Party. A copy of QP license must be submitted with response. Group 2: Vegetation management services shall include clearing and grubbing unwanted vegetation, brush mowing, and stump grinding in City rights-of-way or storm drainage easements. Locations include improved and unimproved rights-of-way, alleys, vacant lots, drainage easements, retentions basins, City streets, City facilities, and various associated areas throughout the City. Clearing and Grubbing - Clearing and grubbing services to remove grass, weeds, woody shrubs, trees, debris, and trash from the transportation right-of-way and storm drainage easements. Work shall include all labor, transportation, equipment, material, disposal fees and any miscellaneous fees. Contractor shall leave area clean, raked, swept, and free of debris. Work shall be performed in accordance with MAG Standard Specifications 201 Clearing and Grubbing.
