Specifications include, but are not limited to: Work includes: Preservation and protection of existing landscape areas, plantings, irrigation system, boulders, pavements, walls, or other structures to remain or to be improved under future phases. Restoration of all pavements, curbs, walls, structures, landscaping, irrigation, rock ground cover and other surfaces or features to remain which are disturbed as a result of work under this project phase. Maintaining existing irrigation service to areas improved under previous phases or designated for improvements under future phases. New tree and shrub plantings for FY19-20 areas as indicated on plans. Removal of existing decomposed granite in this phase of work. Turf removal as shown and noted. Restoration of existing river run rock. New concrete header as shown. Fine grading/excavation along edge of header, walk, and curb within FY19-20 area to allow for new granite installation. Providing and installing decomposed granite in FY19-20 area to provide a 2” minimum depth in landscape planting areas and 1” below curbs or adjacent pavement. (Match existing D.G. color and size). D.G. sample must be provided and approved by the Town of Gilbert prior to installation. Abandonment of portions of the existing irrigation system no longer in use in FY19-20 area unless otherwise indicated on plans. At grade or above grade components within FY19-20 project area to be removed. Below grade components can be abandoned in place providing there is no conflict with new improvements. Using the existing water meter and backflow preventer as indicated on the plan set. Connecting to existing mainline. Unless otherwise noted or approved, all extra materials, debris, or materials removed as part of work under this project and not intended for reuse shall be disposed legally offsite.
