Specifications include, but are not limited to: This RFI is issued by the Town to the broadest possible audience to elicit ideas for potential events and to understand the needs of outside parties regarding producing/staging events at these facilities. Additionally, the Town is seeking to better understand how it may foster such events and what participation may be required to do so. Depending on the outcome of the RFI, the Town may issue a formal solicitation to engage one or more entities to facilitate event(s) at new or existing venues. The timing of such event(s) has not been determined; however, it is the Town’s goal to host at least one large-scale event (not curated by the Town) within 24-months from completion of the event venue at Gilbert Regional Park. See the following RFI objectives summary: Hold a destination event with the following results: Attract overnight and day trip visitors from outside the area and state Compel overnight stays to approximately 7,000 monthly unsold hotel room nights October - January and April - May Increase economic and fiscal impacts through visitor spending Attract and increase per person expenditures per day for lodging, food, transportation, retail and entertainment o Increase average daily spending o Attract targeted audiences and/or increase group size o Increase average length of stay
