Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Phoenix Employees’ Retirement System (COPERS) is dedicated to administering a retirement plan for past, current, and future City of Phoenix employees that prudently invests plan assets and delivers comprehensive support to meet the needs of COPERS’ members and their beneficiaries. COPERS is a single-employer, defined benefit pension plan established by the City Charter. Its purpose is to provide retirement, disability retirement and survivor benefits for its members. The general administration, management and operation of COPERS are vested in a nine-member Retirement Board consisting of three elected employee members, four ex officio members, a citizen member and a retiree member. The Retirement Board appoints the Retirement Program Administrator and contracts investment counsel and other services necessary to properly administer the Plan. 1.1. The City of Phoenix Employees’ Retirement Office (COPERS) invites quotes for death matching services relating to our annuitant payroll for a three-year period, with an option to extend for two years commencing on or about July 1, 2019, in accordance with the specifications and provisions contained in this Agreement;
