Productsa.All products for this solicitation and resulting contract shall be in accordance with the latestStreetPrint Surfacing System Installation Instructions as issued by Integrated PavingConcepts Inc.b.Contractors shall provide Safety Data Sheets (SDS) as part of their bid submittal for allproducts they plan to use in performance of the work specified herein.2.Decorative Pavement Cleaninga.The work shall be described as cleaning without re-coating the decorative asphalt pavementby means of a high pressure hot water power washing system using an approved degreaserproduct.b.Arrangements shall be made by the contractor with the City of Scottsdale Water ResourcesDepartment at (480) 312-5650, if a supply of water is required by the contractor. All applicablefees for obtaining water will be the responsibility of the contractor.c.Discharging pressure washing wastewater, into any natural body of water or any storm waterdrainage system, such as storm drains, ditches, and gutters, within Maricopa County, isprohibited by Federal, State, and local laws. All water used in the performance of cleaningthedecorative pavement must be collected and legally disposed of.3.Decorative Asphalt Paving Recoatinga.Textured asphalt pavement shall be described as "StreetPrint Pavement Texturing" or"StreetPrint" as described in this document.b.The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment to re-coat existingdecorative “StreetPrint” pavements, crosswalks, or medians.c.All Materials and procedures specified in this contract shall meet City of Scottsdale supplementspecifications Section 343, Exposed Aggregate Paving and Asphalt Print Paving.d.Subgrade Preparation: Conform to Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) SubgradePreparation, Sec 301.e.Asphalt Concrete Pavement: All asphaltic concrete used in the project shall be East ValleyAsphalt Committee (EVAC) approved mix design or City of Phoenix D ½ Rubberized AsphaltConcrete, latest version.
